DAY 8 – Friday, 5/5/17 – Colorado to Kansas

Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to ride the cable car up to Pikes Peak and the shops were not open yet by the time we headed out of Manitou Springs.  I definitely need to go back to Manitou Springs!

We finished the “S-Town” podcast and highly recommend it!

After a 9.5 hour drive, we arrived in Topeka, Kansas, at the home of our friend, Glenda. She took us to a First Friday gallery event, where we met some of her friends, and shopped, and ate, and drank, and listened to live music.  It was a very relaxing and enjoyable evening.
