No one expects you to be all smiles all the time. You don’t need to pretend everything’s fine when it’s not. Life is real, and you’re allowed to be, too. You’re allowed to feel tired, frustrated, off-center. But, even in the middle of that, there’s still something steady you can lean into: LOVE.

When you do things in the spirit of love – not perfection, not pressure, but love – you put something good into the world. It doesn’t mean you’ll always be calm or cheerful. It just means your heart is in the right place.

When your actions are rooted in love, that love has a way of finding its way back to you. It may not be immediate. It may not look how you expected, but it circles back eventually.

And when you can’t find the strength to love in a big way, love small. That counts too.

Love given is never wasted.

This is week 35 of my coloring journey – as usual, I digitally colored this page using Procreate. I think I used a gouache pen for most of it.  I like the way it turned out.
