In February, I did author visits and read A to Z Animal Picnic at two schools.  The first was my granddaughter’s 4K class.  The other was during Public Schools Week, to Kindergarteners, at the elementary school where I (and my children) attended. 

I’ve had so much fun!  The students have been very enthusiastic and engaged.  They always have a lot to tell me about their own picnics, and they love counting the ants in the book!

I’ve been moved by the amazing, caring school teachers inspiring and nurturing their students.  If you have a chance, thank a teacher . . . our future is in their hands!
