I hope your new year is off to a great start!  Did you make any resolutions? If so, we’re one week in . . . have you kept them?

If you know me, you know that I’m a planner.  I set goals and target dates for completion, with mini milestones along the way, and to-do lists that I update daily.  But, I’ve learned that things don’t always go as planned.  Life throws curveballs.  So, while I don’t think that there’s anything wrong with having plans, I do think that life is most enjoyable if you can set high level goals for yourself, and then take each day as it comes – giving yourself grace, embracing spontaneity, and enjoying every moment!  In other words . . . Set Dreamy Intentions, but Live In The Moment!

My Live Your Dreams Coloring Journal has 52 original designs.  Each week this year, I’m going to try to color one page and post it here.  If you have the journal, and have already colored this page, I’d love to see how yours turned out! Week 1 – For this page, I used hello HOBBY Gel Pens.
I learned that I’m a messy colorist. Please ignore the smudges.
Also, I had no idea that these pens were so fluorescent until I was partway in.
But, coloring is the perfect activity for a dreary day, and neon pens brighten a dreary day.
For the upcoming week, I’m going to try using colored pencils.
