Friday, April 28, 2017, was the start of our 9-Day road trip along Route 66 to the Grand Canyon and back – on a shoestring budget.  Forrest and I left Madison, Wisconsin at 4:12 pm and arrived in Staunton, Illinois at 9:32 pm.  We ate dinner at Woody’s Chicken Farm.  And, we listened to Chapter 1 of the Podcast, “S-Town”.  It was a great start to our GRAND adventure!
